Financial Assistance & Fellowships
The College of Engineering and Computer Science has some financial aid possibilities for prospective full-time graduate students. The University of Michigan-Dearborn also offers a limited number of graduate scholarships to qualified graduate students. There are also a limited number of research assistantships available to qualified students.
DOE/GATE Fellowships are offered to students with US citizenship who want to specialize in Lightweight Automotive Structures Materials and Processing. For details on this fellowship program, go to the homepage of Center for Lightweight Automotive Materials and Processing.
Tuition Scholarships are provided to out-of-state students, including international students, who do not qualify as the resident of the State of Michigan. To qualify for the tuition scholarship, the student must have a GPA of 3.2 (on a 4-point scale) and must show financial need. The tuition scholarship application form can be downloaded from CECS web site and may be submitted after receiving the admission letter from the university.
